Sarawak Trip 2000 Day 1, June 3rd, 2000 Day 1, Yeah this is the very day that I woke up so early in the morning to get ready for my trip. I took an early bath and as usual I did my morning prayers. The excitement I felt made me hard to sleep which awakes me from my sleep every moment. Although I did not had a good sleep, I am still energetic on that very day or should I say for the upcoming four days. With my sister with me while my mum drove the Proton Wira 1.5 car, I set off to my school. Upon reaching the place you could every person who was going was so hype up on that early morning. Entirely different from the faces I saw when going to the usual school time. So we got our yellow T-shirt with SARAWAK 2000 printed on the back and wore it. After some briefing we are off to the Airport.
We set off to Sarawak after taking some pictures and giving up our VISAS to the tour agencies and so... Sarawak here we come... The hotel was great!! it was a suite room for god sake!!! We rush in the room and choose the best bedroom! Let me describe the suite, it has; 3 bedrooms,3 toilets, living room, dining room and a small kitchen!! Wow!! After we settle down we get ready to set off for the City Tour of Kuching which is capital of Sarawak. Then we went to the Sarawak museum which is quite old or should I say VERY old cause it was built in the 1890s.After sometimes in there we went to the garden which have beautiful fountains and took some pictures.
After one tired afternoon we went back to our hotel and relax. This is when my relax was cut short when my Zahid's (the guy in black) itchy finger push a rewind button on my camera and it cause the film to rewind losing half film empty! Funny to say that he still ask me "eh sal kau punya camera bunyi cam ni??" or in English "why is your camera making sounds?" I look at his face and told him its rewinding the film!!! In the evening we set off to dinner on some roof restaurant which has a pretty nice view and it also was the last plan for the day.
