| Rosemary is the daughter of The Giver. She was the last "Receiver of Memory" before Jonas. Her father send her the memories that are good at first. When she received the memory of loneliness, she wanted to be released. After her release, the community had a new rule for the receivers. It was, "You can not apply for release.". This rule was made because of the carnage that the community had after the memories of Rosemary came to them. |
