Gabriel is a baby taken by Jonas' family. He had a twin. He has pale eyes like Jonnas.
In their community, nobody can have a twin so only the heavier baby has the right to live. The worst part is that, the thin baby is being released. Jonas' father released Gabriel's twin.
Jonas took Gabriel with him at the end of the book at the journey to Elsewhere. They had a hard way. At the end, there are two possibilties to believe. Gabriel and Jonas die or they live at Elsewhere. As I said before this is a great ending. |
