Lord Alcroft - He's a man used to his own ways, with a hard but not impenetrable heart. Could the right woman melt his icy facade? The Misses Cole - These two young ladies seemed cold and unfeeling, but what is hidden beneath the beautiful exterior? Thomas Sommers Cox - He was introduced to play a joke on Southy, but can he not be more than that? Phillip Derring - He may not be the brightest of men, but he is loyal and kind. He's seen 2 of his best friends married to each other, why must he be left out? John Weyland - Evrett - This man is #1 on my list of those I'd like to see find love and happiness. He is a man who puts himself second or last to help others. Badly injured before the start of the series, turned down in Exiles, he is a friend to most and an excellent son. Who is more deserving than dear Evrett? |
E. G. LeSueur - With each novel LeSueur has become a little more fleshed out. Will the next make him whole/complete? Colonel White - Maybe the good colonel had his own grand adventure? Mrs. Southy - Her first husband was the lowest of all scum, she's had to raise her young daughter alone, and for months she believed her son dead. I'd say this woman needs a distraction, if not a full break. Anthony Roth & Diana Hart - The last we saw this pair, they seemed like a likely match, but does anything come of it? Isn't it about time poor Anthony found someone who wouldn't stand him up at the alter? Any of the main servants/friends - A romance between a maid and a smuggler is suggested at in Spy's Bride, but none of the valets, abigails, butlers, etc of the main characters of any of the 5 novels have been faced with love or had their own story told yet. Isn't it about time Bullin, Rodrigo, Sievert, and the rest had their chances? Couldn't you see 3 of them joining together to save the reckless butts of their employers, or simply to fill in for them? |
