May 21, 2006 Update -
Site updates for this page have been rare - therefore, if you're looking for the best way to contact us, you may do so through our MySpace @ myspace.com/empiremineroad! It has become official, Empire Mine Road will be shut down to traffic this summer! The City Council will be making it official this upcoming Tuesday, May 23, 2006, and we'll keep you posted on a decision. Until then, check out the video at http://cbs5.com/local/local_story_137020547.html and check us out on MySpace!

As featured in the Contra Costa Times and Antioch Weekly...

In the small town of Antioch, California lies a web of urban legends and unexplained events. EmpireMineRoad.com is your source for all information on the supernatural, surreal, and sometimes terrifying experiences from within.

Take some time to click here and read our disclaimer!

Many places discussed on this website are DANGEROUS, (no, we're not playin around with ya,) and the last thing we want is for someone to get hurt or be pissed off because of this site. Don't say we didn't warn you!

As mentioned countless times before, Empire Mine Road is slated to be shut down, according to the Contra Costa Times (10/31/05). Vote on the poll above and give us your opinion as to what you think should happen to Empire Mine!

Empire Mine Road will be featured this weekend in the East County Times. On Saturday, an article written by Sarah Krupp will feature the webmasters of EmpireMineRoad.com and more, as well as talk about all the legends just in time for the Halloween season, so look out for that. As a reminder, EmpireMineRoad.com discourages anyone from visiting Empire Mine Road on Halloween since it may be dangerous, and as always we are NOT responsible for any physical or property damage that occurs to you or anyone on the road!

Just as a reminder, EMR's myspace is at myspace.com/empiremineroad
