| Thurs. May 29, 2003 Well my 13 years in Saginaw Twp. Community Schools comes to an end tomorrow. Its been a good run. I've met a lot of cool and interesting people, and lots have come and gone, Lots of funny stuff has happened. Those years will be missed. Today we had our class picnic, Me steve aaron pett decided to be cool and have our own cookout. To do this aaron made sure we edged the line of what was acceptable, so it was technically legit (except the lighter). Mr Tyson, seemed baffled by my bring charcoal on the bus. But we went off to a remote area in sanford and made those steaks, and they were perfect! A great day all in all. Booyah. "E-Ro" Wed. May 28, 2003 Some advice, the gas petal in your car doesnt double as a bass drum petal while listening to "jukebox hero". Today i went to meijer to get stuff to cook out tomorrow. thats about it. i dunno, i havent done much the last two days. just getting ready to end school. I got to rock my car JOURNEY level on the way to school, cool eh? "E-Ro" Sun. May 25, 2003 <watch MOST EXTREME ELIMINATION CHALLENGE> Omg TNN 8-9 pm, quite possibly the most hilarious show ever. Its not very often i get gungho about a show, but this is brilliant. They take this weird Japanese Gameshow, that involves contestants brutally getting hurt do physical challenges. At first i was laffing at how ridiculous the events were, when i realized the show is hilariously dubbed by people who dont know japanese, and everyone is given names that are as unjapanese you can have, like vladimir, or La Douche, or kyle. The comments added in are dubbed to the mouths extremely well and are just hilarious and random. Watch this show! Today was sarah's sister rachael's birthday, we went to Genji, and all the birthday jazz, i love Genji, its my favorite local establishment. I slept through star trek nemesis, i just dont get star trek, and never will. "E-Ro" Sat. May 24, 2003 Nothing happened during the day today. I decided that Limbeck, the band that started the aar show, is actually pretty good. I will prolly get their cd when it comes out. I worked 7 hours today, and to keep entertained steve did this impression of the new kid that never shows. Its hilarious and high pitched. I came home and i sarah showed me her scrapbook. I looked at all my class id's over the last 7 years, its kinda weird. "E-Ro" Fri. May 23, 2003 <PIZZA THAUTH> Today at school we had senior mock elections. Me and sarah won "most unique couple" i was mad i had a speech made out, but i didnt get to do it, haha.Aaron won biggest procrastinator, as it should be. Today mikah J was voted to give a speech to the whole english class, mrs rich asked if he was up to accepting the challenge, and he responded "fo shizzel" hahaha. Later at work i broke down laffing when steve pointed out the sauce was labled "thauth" haha i must have laffed for 6 min. Carson did that, hes funny. Just say it "thauth" hahahahaha. A new kid was supposed to work today, but he never showed? what up with that? We played All American Rejects in chem today courtesy of bestie waugh, that band is so awful now. THAUTH. <E-Ro> Thurs. May 22, 2003 <spring fever> Well today i attended spring fever for the first time in my 4 years (absent the other 3.) (Note to self: owe aaron $2, and p. suave $1.10. The day was spent avoiding people. Me, pett, steve, smalley went on an aaron cook hunt, since we were bored. HSOOMS and Poppeee tipped us off that he was at a bball court(yep a black kid playing bball, it was the last place i'd look!) We had a shoe kicking contest which was won by aaron, and we watched the male cheerleader in the dance contest (dont ask). Later we watched HSOOMS and the locomotive (cartoon #1) join forces and defeat the other grades to win spring fever. Frisbees were flying everywhere, and aaron cooks ma called in. Later i went to work and sarah came over after. Wed. May 21, 2003 <AmERICn rejects All American Reject> Ok, so back in early january i heard a band (all american rejects) that sounded decent so i bought their cd for 6 bucks when it first came out, and i said hey theres some good songs on it, but then they had a hit, and got popular. Well tonight i went to St. andrews hall to watch them, and it was the worst show i've been to ever, lets just say the show wasnt the only thing sold out in the bulding. The first opening band was likable, i think i'll listen to them some more. The second band was just your everyday emo-core dime a dozen band, but they did play a sweet cover of Superdrag's Sucked out, which was a song/band i loved in 5th grade. All the little MTV kids sang along to every song but that one, and i felt like a man singing the words to that old song. Next was AAR. Reasons All American Rejects suck live: They took over 20 min to set up, come on. The crowd was made up of the worst possible kids, one kid looked like he was at a linkin park show getting into it all ghettorock, there was a retarded kid pushing people around all funny, the little girls saw the "swing swing" video and thought the guys were cute so they got their daddies or mommies to bring them who then would stand by them in line and make sure there is no risk of fire, so many fake hot topic kids, and people who like nfg and good charlotte. I even saw more than 4 black people? I was depressed by the crowd so me, pett, aaron, and sarah just stood on the balcony. Betsie waugh, erin langenberg, and eric jahn were also there but didnt come with us. Other Reasons AAR sucks: While the two guitar players look really cool and do a lot of 80esque moves, the lead singer/bass player just looks really goony and awkward on stage and just seemed like a dork. He doesnt seem the rocknroll star type. Also anytracks that have synthesizers or piano etc are just added in to their performance via drummachine. That gave them a really fake live sound. Worst of all, everysong played was from their new album. Thats just pathetic considering they've come out with some indie stuff at some ppoint. What a dissappointment, i'll never listen to AAR again. Pett took the cd and frisbeed it to the back of his car. Good day, but bad show, oh well, the bad ones let me enjoy the good ones "E-Ro" Tues. May 20, 2003 Have u ever watched aerobics on tv, and they are doing such a complicated sequence of moves that u wonder if they are just making the whole thing up on the spot. Well thats what i think was just happening on the health network. Man, i woke up at 4 am and my window was open to keep cool, and i heard this eerie squeling coming from around my window, it must have been a bat maybe, but it was really weird. Today was spent doing not much, I had my best calculator Landmine high score of my entire highschool career 1138! Not bad eh? Theres this little kid in my gym class who broke his medic alert bracelet in the pool cuz he has diabetes. certain people would find that very funny. Im working on a really neato sketch right now in my sketchbook. I'll add more tonight. "E-Ro" Mon. May 19, 2003 So school right now out the outside seems very boring, and not work oriented, but every night this week will be spent doing something, that kinda blows cuz i should have my evenings free. Mikah J. got grounded today for no reason, so i said he got a tatoo, and about 5 people heard me, and it spread through the room like SARS through a chinese household, it was funny, it shows how easily rumors (or as i like to spell them RHOOMURS) get started. I got 107% on the last latin test which was worth a bootload, i was coach stoked about that. I handed in my AP calc review, mrs t. prolly expected it to be in nice order with papers in the clear sheets but i just threw everything in there in random order cuz i dont care, and i dont think theres any way to trace it back to me. My parents might move to lansing after i go to school, well if they do i hope i can spend summer after this one at the generals house, cuz it would be so lame to spend it in lansing where i dont know anyone. (haha i could help raise the private, which i just dubbed the general's child to be) "E-Ro" Sun. May 18, 2003 So today i was planning on finishing this physics extracredit project that should have been done months ago, but it just didnt happen. I went to the mall with sarah to get shorts, cuz all my shorts from 8th and 9th grade are wearing on in the ass. It was one of my 4 fashion^2 mall visits annually. 2 pairs of shorts were bought at AE. Then i had new china, which was rather good. On malcom in the middle the mom had a kid named Jamie, and it was crying, so i started singing "oh oh oh jamie's cryin'" but i dont think sarah or her family is familiar with van halen. Today was nice weather, i saw that toad again outside sarah's house that i saw prom night, i named him toadie. "E-Ro" Sat. May 17, 2003 <o o o jamie's cryin'> So last night i did something i don't think i've done since middle school, complete a paper a week before it was due. I dont know what came over me, but i did an above par effort on it too, 5 pages long. Quote of the day Dad- "Eric i'm going to the bank" Me- "Ok, Tell him i said hi".Today i just worked 6 hours. I made a drawing at work of steve delivering a pizza to Elton John, who gave him a grammy as a tip. I have to be at the ovens the whole day and its so hot there, but in the words of someone who would watch a lot of BET "its aight dawg." Unfortunately my ancestors didnt grow up in african heat (never thought i'd say that haha). No i kid i kid i love black people. Well thats about it for today."E-Ro". NOTE TO SELF: find out if college toilet paper is of a quality constitution. Fri. May 16, 2003 <i missed u too!> Wow guess i havent updated this in a week. Well i took a field trip to my future alma mater yesterday for latin, i saw some cool ancient manuscripts and mike borja picked up the gay & lesbian campus newspaper by accident. Tuesday i took the Chem AP test, it was hard. Teachers are pissing me off. Mrs Richardson somehow didnt record my March indie novel report, which is apparently about 40% of our grade, and shes in the bahamas til tues so i cant straighten it out. On top of that we had that stupid gym student teacher as a sub and she marked me absent a second time in a row! wtf?! Shes messed up 2 of my grades too. I'm getting sick of complaining to mrs murphy to fix things. I got this awesome 1L (thats LITRO for all you "banks" out there) slurpee mug for $3.99, and i can now get refills for a buck. Thats cool! Im feeling good at my job, my back pocket is starting to get a little BANKish (heavey). I saw the matrix 2 the night before it opened, and my girlfriends 14 year old sister got in, and my friend 18 yo friend Weirda got carded and he didnt have his id. The special effects in that movie were so choice, i definately recommend catching it if u have the means. PS New HSOOMS in production! "E-RO" Fri. May 9, 2003 <PROM> I went to prom today, it was lame. I really just didnt have fun. I guess its just not my cup of tea. I just went bowling afterwards and went home. We didnt do anything last year, but it was still 10 times as fun last year. I dont think sarah had much fun either. Oh well, i never have to do it again. I will discuss positives for the evening: 3. i saw a toad hopping around for the first time this year 2. HSOOMS is quite the dancer 1. A brand new red ferrari passed me at 3 am, why the hell was a ferrari on the road in saginaw at 3 am? It seemed out of place. Im sick of being bored with things around here, i wanna go to college all ready. "E-Ro" Wed. May 7, 2003 I dunno y but my stupid site didnt save my last 2 entries. Oh well, i just went to school and such. I was supposed to be studying for my ap calc test, but i just dont care, cuz in order to get the 4 that is required by my alma mater i would have had to been studying since spring break, and a combination of being burned out, illnesses, and work, i just dont feel like the effort. I watched George Lopez today. "E-Ro" Sun. May 4, 2003 <LBC> I spent most of the day listening to my new ozma album, i dont think it quite measures up to their other two, but there are some awesome songs on it. I realized something today. The only difference between avril lavigne and britney speares is that britney can dance. Otherwise they are fundamentally the same thing. Plus britney isnt canadian. I went to sarahs later on today, thats it. "E-Ro" Sat. May 3, 2003 <the safest place for your baby is downtown flint> Yesterday i worked 5 hours, and had a pizza party in gym class that me and aaron hadnt heard anything about, but every freshman knew about it? My site is now a month old! Today i saw my favorite band OZMA in concert. Their new album comes out may 6, but i got it today, which is too cool, i also got a beanie and poster. The show was extremely good, it was in a small room in hamtramck. Now ozma plays with a lot of energy, but they arent heavy, yet there was these kids jumping up and down like they were at a mxpx concert. I wanted to walk over and knock some sense into them.. "E-Ro" Thurs. May 1, 2003 "im flirtin with disaster" Today wasnt bad. I went to school, and i got to give don poppeeeee a link to my site. I went to work at 4 and worked til 10. It passes the time, and isnt bad. Some slacker eric guy quit today an hour before his shift, so everything was kinda crazy, and a lot of orders came in. I am surprised how many people eat pizza on thursday. I have a lot of homework now and so little time to do it, who cares though the year is almost over. "E-Ro" Wed. April 30, 2003 <i just thought i'd add a little sumthin sumthin on the end> Yesterday i played tennis with john and won a match, but they were close. Today i went to school and didnt do much. I went to Chan's garden for chinese for the first time, it was pretty good, but New China is still my local overall favorite. I was forced to watch drumline again at sarah's, i hate that movie. I watched south park too, which was hilariously brilliant. and here i am. "E-Ro" Mon. April 28, 2003 <tennis anyone> Last night i went to bed at 2 am, and i got up at 5:20 am. I am pretty dead now, but i dont go to school until 9:45 tomorrow so its ok. Today was my first day back to school, pretty eventless. I later played tennis with aaron, we split two sets 6-0 and 5-7. It was decent game play. sarah came over later and we made rice on my ricecooker, it turned out okay, but not perfect. Me, aaron, steve, and pett bet what color nate's ickthus '03 shirt would be, and i won 3 bucks guessing it would be black. Thats a lot of dough. "E-Ro" Sun. April 27, 2003 I just was flipping through the channels and i heard one of my favorites bands playing in the background on RoadRules or RealWorld, i dunno the difference. The band (plainwhitet's) is pretty unheard of thats why i think its kinda cool. The rest of the day was spent at sarahs watching simpsons. Sat. April 26, 2003 <I watched little big league> I worked 5 hours today. I think its funny that the best way to give directions to Windemere subdivision is to use the phrase "house with purple roof". I just heard a funny story about my brother at a tampa devil rays game when they were playing against ken griffey jr, and my bro was sitting behind the visitors dug out, and he got asked to leave for yelling at ken griffey jr too much. Haha ken griffey jr. I think sarah comes home tonight some time. "E-Ro" Fri. April 25, 2003 <mmmm Pizza> Well today is my 18th and a HALF birthday. I celebrated at my new job at Eudici's. It's pretty decent there, i am learning how to do everything. Since its pretty far west on gratiot, it doesnt have the ghetto enviroment that some places would, and everyone seems pretty competant and helpful. I have about 14 hour logged between yesterday and today. Me and steve are both new guys. The nice thing about working is the time usually spent doing nothing, is spent doing something and making money. Cool man. "E-Ro" Wed. April 23, 2003 Well i did pretty much nothing all day, but i did get hired to work at a local pizza establishment thanks to an asian aquaintance of mine. I bowled too, a pathetic avg of 104 which is over 30 less than yesterday. South Park was pretty funny as always I have to work early tomorrow by early i mean 11. Tues. April 22, 2003 <MT PLEASANT!!> Today i had a crip talkin smack to me, and no i dont mean a gang member but a crippled guy when me and some friends went to the casino. I was playing blackjack next to some crippled guy who was all machined up like stephan hawkings, and he apparently felt it was necessary to be a dickhead and take 5 minutes to type this out and hand it to me, then some other fat old sad bald man decided to also insult my style vocally, and i got in an argument on how its f'n gambling and theres no sure style and i have my own philosophy. Needless to say, i won a woppin 7.50 on the table, while baldie lost 100, and Mr. No-Walkie lost atleast 500 bucks. I hate to be so insensitive to his situation, but who likes a mean cripple? I later bowled and average an ok 136, the guy bowling next to me's name was ERO, but i think it was just his Arabic name, not E-Ro. All other time was spent hanging out at steve's. "E-Ro" Mon.April 21, 2003 <today was just what i needed> Today was great, not much happened until later on, when i was driving around. I was driving down my old street (from which i moved away from almost 2 years ago) and my old neighbor Ben was out cleaning his car. I hadnt talked to him since i moved. He used to be practically my best friend growing up even though he was 3 years older than me. I have been having dreams that i was at his house playing with seth and him, just like old times, and it was kinda depressing cuz i would realize that i'd prolly never see their house again, but ben invited me in, and his whole family was there, and they were all nice as ever. We just kinda reflected upon old times, mario cart, snes, streethockey, backyard football, squirtgun fights. Their littlest brother andrew is now in the 7th grade, and when they first moved in he was just 2 and could hardly talk! The pine trees i remember them planting are now way over my head. I guess thats just how life usually is, it just passes you by (ha i quoted a pwt's song). Im going to miss those days at the barnett's aka my second home. An interesting sidenote dealing with yesterday's billmurray phenomena, my dad randomly brought up the fact that billmurray owns a restaurant in staugustine florida called caddyshack. Maybe its all in my head "E-Ro" Sun.April 20, 2003 <i need the one they call dr. feelgood> Yep, well today is easter, i went to bay valley with my whole family for brunch. The General paid in an extremely generous act. I felt ill later. I then had an unofficial "Bill Murray-athon", thats right i saw 3 moviess with bill murray on 3 different networks. i saw caddyshack, ghostbusters2, and some elephant movie on animal planet. Karl from "Thats My Bush" is in ghostbusters and he looks slightly younger. i dont know what im going to do all week. The wheel in the sky just keeps on turning, and i just have no clue where i'll be tomorrow. "E-Ro" Sat. April 19, 2003 <matchbox leadin the way> Today's been decent so far. I played tennis for the first time this year with john. I was up a game when we decided to play doubles with marissa redburn's dad and friend.I made a couple madd points. I found out the all american rejects show is now sold out, cuz everyone dilly-dallied too much on them, i dont really mind though cuz i dont think they are a great band, but they do have some good songs. I was looking into getting DDR, but when i looked into i think its too expensive for a decent pad, so i dont think i will. I went to steve's and me aaron, steve and john skout played bball at weiss for a little. We then played supermonkeyball2, and looked at steve's matchbox cars. Im sad to say all my matchbox cars were thrown away, we later came to my house and checked out my collection of unopened Nascar racing champions. Interesting fact of the day: according to my sources zack macomber owned an AJ Foyt racing champion. " E-Ro" Good Fri. April 18, 2003 <Get Back JoJo> Ah, first day of spring break. I just sat around for the early morning portion, and took a nap. I watched Gooftroop, Disney Doug, and Hercules just cuz. My bro JoJo came home at like 3:30 after i took a nap. He watched the video of my day pointing out that some lockers are no longer present in our school, and he didn't like the new bell or phone ring. Later i played supermonkeyball2 at steves, which is a fun game. I eventually went in aaron's hottub. Quote of the day: "I never got to play video games when i was in school" Jojo. "E-Ro" Thurs April 17, 2003 <AeroBIANCA> My site is now 2 weeks old! Today i captured my entire day on my sharp viewcam. There are some priceless moments on it. There is still going to be a playing of our year old government video on May 2. If you wanna see it drop me a line. The true essence of NMB's class was captured today by the sharp viewcam. Wierda and I invented this new classroom game where u take a cardboard aerobie, and try to though it on the government issued classroom "old glory" american flag. I'm the best at it, however noone has gotton a ringer. I don't know what i'll do all spring break. Quote of day: "Tom Petty again?" NMB. "E-Ro" |
