| Aurora scrowled at hem and said, "I had some help from a crystal scryer." They could tell that she was lying and looked at her with questioning eyes. "Alright, I'll tell the truth," Aurora gave in. "I live in Wolf's Fang Forest on the other end of Wezon Island from where Mage Mass Temple is. I was playing around in the forest when I heard an ancient voice and a cold droning voice. They were????.. She told her story for the rest of the night. The companions left almost at noon the next day and travelled to Moonswing Forest on their newly bought horses. When the sun was almost down, they found a place by a stream. They would be travelling along the stream the next day. On the fifth day of their journey, they reached Monsoon Harbour. "I'll ask around and see when the next ship is living for Wezon Island," Chodux offered. The nest ship leaves that day just before sunset, and would reach Wezon Island by noon the next day. "Where in the temple is Oslin? I've just realised that you haven't told us, " Chodux asked. " Didn't I? O! It's still in the room at the centre of Mage Mass Monastery. No one had been in it since Gosar's and Mulson's presence had been felt near the room," Aurora answered. Aurora, Chodux and Solarac decided to enter the temple as monks and then sneak in to the room where Oslin lay. Solarac and Chodux were reluctant to let Aurora join them at first but they finally gave in after much arguing. They woke up to the sound of the captain's voice calling, "Land ahead!"" As soon as they were on land, they set off immediately to the nearest village to by some robes. Oslin's protection spell was getting weaker with each passing day. By the time they bought them, it was too late to travel any farther. They went to Wolf's Fang Forest and stayed in Aurora's wooden house. They found out that a black house, crow, and a cream coloured mouse were allowed to roam around in the house. She explained that they were her 'friends'. They had the first wonderful meal in six days and went to sleep peacefully. When the companions woke up, they made plans for the night. They would be at the temple just after sunset. When they had given a prayer to the animal goddess, they would go in the monastery and look for Oslin. (Mage Mass Temple belongs to the animal goddess). Oslin's declining protection spell caused its normally bright green light to start flicking. They could tell which room Oslin was in because they could see it's flickering light from the gap at the bottom of the door. They could also detect Gosar's presence. "Chodux, lend me your sword. I need to put a spell on it so that you can kill Mulson while Solarac and I attack Gosar," Aurora ordered. Chodux was about to protest but was met with two pairs of cold, hard eyes, so he gave in. |
