Kach supporters arrested. Itamar Ben-Givr, Norm Federman, and Pollock were arrested by undercover police as they were driving towards the Orient house to protest the removing of the Israeli flag over the orient house. The flag was removed Saturday due to pressure from the arabs. The UN and US among others has condemned the Israeli takeover of the facility. Over 90% of the Jews object to returning the orient house to arabs.

Eyewitness account. An observer reported he saw the undercover police encircle the car the three were traveling in. Police pulled the three out and put them in unmarked vans. The observer asked why they were being arrested. Police replied they had bugged their telephone and heard Ben-Givr calling people to encourage violence. The observer said this is a lie, Ben-Givr was calling the news agencys telling them that Kach would be at the orient house to protest the removing of the Israeli flag and encourage it to be replaced.
