| In April 2006, the College received an overall grade of 'Outstanding'
from Ofsted. This was the highest rating for any London college and puts us second in
the entire country. Our reputation for innovation and excellence was formally recognised when we were first awarded Beacon Status in 1999. We now have four Beacon awards. We're recognised as one of the most employer-responsive colleges in the
country. South Thames College was one of only three London colleges to be awarded
The Training Quality Standard, recently introduced by the Learning and Skills Council. Recognised for our highly effective
employer responsiveness, the College has also received additional accreditation for vocational
excellence in Information and Communication Technologies. We have also been credited
by the Learning and Skills Council London East as the most successful Employer Training College in
their area. |
