7.8.01 I May Already Be A Loser! I can't believe I didn't win. I will not be among the few, the proud, spending the last weekend in July with Metallica. I wrote up a darling paragraph, 100 words or less, detailing exactly why I should be picked. Ostensibly everyone else had better reasons... oh, come on, no they didn't. Mine was the best and everyone knows it. I deserved to win, damn it. But I guess life just isn't fair sometimes. This not having been a winner makes the photo below all the more poignant, doesn't it?
