At around the ago of 5 years old I was starting to listen to some music, mainly what my dad listend to on the radio or on tapes. I liked bands such as Areosmith, Dweezil Zappa, and Romones. As I started to grow up I noticed my self getting into more and more music. At around the age of 8 I started listening to a band called Green Day, at that minute I was hooked.
Years have gone by and my passion for music had sorred by the time I was 13. This is when I was big into death metal and punk rockl. It is also the age where I began playing guitar. Teaching my self how to play and write songs, took a long time, but I stuck with it. When I turned 14 I found a band called MxPx. Though I have listend to there music befour then I never knew what the band was called.
MxPx was the band that got me into alot of punkrock that I didnt know excisted. Meeting a long time friend Curt Henry after 6 long years of not talking to one another helped my musical careare alot. We got into a band called Dougs Last Day which Curt played drums and I played guitar and back up vocals.
After relising that I had songs that I wanted to play and sing, I decided to leave the band. I started my own band while bringing in Curt as my lead guitarist. The band Stop-7 was born in the summer of 1998.
The reason that I am doing this solo project is to get the songs that stop7 will never do out of the way. I have written about 187 songs.
