My First  Weird Al Concert

Date: October 7, 1999
Place: Arizona State Fair
Time: 7pm
One of the best times of my life.

On October 7 I went to see  Weird Al in concert at the Arizona State Fair. This was a first for me, checking out of school, and driving down to Pheonix with my best friend and his family.
My parents can't STAND AL!!!! So I went without them.

I went to school until 3 block. Check my self out and headed to Pheonix.  The fair didn't open until 5 pm because it was opening day (also this was the first time I went to the State Fair).  So to kill some time me and my friend Brandon walk around and talked, we  passed by the midway section and one of the carnies said, "Hey Romeo, some over here and win a prize for your woman."
        We turn around and look at each other, laughed and then ran away. Then he told me direct quote " I will have to kill you first before we will ever go out."  I was little bit shock when he said that , but we both argeed that we will never go out because we been friends since the 3rd grade and  we both didn't want to destroy are friendship if it didn't work out.

Another funny thing that happened  was when I getting my pictures taking by the fake plastic flamingos. I acidently ripped one off its stand.
Brandon start to crack up and then I did, we couldn't stop laughing. Then passerbyers started to stare at us.

After that we headed to the Colusem where the soncert was at. Started around 7:15. It was so cool. The whole audience really got into it. singing every word and cheering and screaming really loud every song.
       One of the odd things that I remeber that happend at the concert,
Ruben the keyboardist hat fell off during Amish Paradise. Someone in the band came in on a wrong note and clashed BIG time, but I forgave them.
      Then after the concert we headed back up the mountian , and didn't get home about 12 am.
   It was a great experince that I want to do again. The only down side was I had get up again a 5am to go to school.=(
