Where is Togo??? and Why Africa???
Pray for Africa
In August of 2002, God began opening doors to Africa for the Emersons by introducing them to Harding University's Africa Internship.  They spent six weeks during the summer of 2003 living with missionaries in Africa.  They were sent with four other interns to Kara, Togo.  After returning home and processing their experience, they felt God was calling them to return to Africa and serve Him there.  As they began praying and inquiring about a team to join, they informed their new friends in Kara of their search.  In January of 2004, they received a call from the Kabiye team asking them to be a part of their work in Togo.  They humbly accepted.
Pray for the Lost in Togo
Tell of His glory among the nations, His wonderful deeds among all the peoples.  For great is the Lord and greatly to be praised.     Psalm 96:3,4
Togo is a country located in West Africa and the home of four families, guided by God, to serve the Kabiye people.  Our team currently lives in the city of Kara, located in the northern region of the country.  These families have been living in Africa and evangelizing to the Kabiye tribes for four years.
