The best part of the day
often comes when I'm alone,
left with just my thoughts
to reflect upon on my own.

With nothing to disturb me
or anyone around to interfere,
I find those moments precious
though too soon then disappear.

Once again my life is hectic
and I hardly can keep the pace,
searching for some serenity
and my own private space.

The best part of the day
is at the end or at the start,
when I can talk alone to God
and share what's in my heart.
