An Important Question

One day my son asked, "Mom, What do you do all day while we're at school?" On the spot, I couldn't think up a sufficient response, so I sat down to contemplate what my activities consist of during the year. I came to this resolve...

Who...
Plans, prepares, and cleans up for about 900 meals a year?
Sorts, washes, separates and puts away clothes (may make or mend)?
Dusts, mops, scrubs, polishes floors, appliances and cars?
Landscapes, plants, weeds, prunes garden flowers and vegetables (canning & freezing same)?
Cuts grass, trims hedges, puts out trash?
Paints, wallpapers, reupholsters, and coordinates interior design?
Pays utilities, plans entertainment, contributes to charities?
Buys clothing, food, household necessities, books and gifts?
Figures out budget, bank statement, and income tax?
Wakes up family, gets kids off to school, and spouse to work?
Greets family at days end to hear about days activities, sports events and get-togethers?
Attends PTA, as homeroom mother, gives parties, is den-mother or scout leader, Sunday school teacher, coach or cheerleader, bus driver, or chaperone to "Y", school and scout activities, sports events, and get-togethers?
Is authority on all subjects so as to assist with homework or trip to library?
Entertains family friends for meals, overnights, weekend jaunts, and plans parties?
Participates in community activities: church, school, civic, social, plays, recreational, and special events?
Collects for charity drives and fund raising projects of children?
Visits sick, shut-ins, elderly, lonely, new neighbors, friends and relatives?
Attends classes and conferences for improvement of mind, body and soul?
Returns favors to spouse: is energetic, vivacious, enthusiastic about ideas, loving, and ready to drop and run upon command?
Cares for family pets and strays?
Tells bedtime stories, plays games, listens to prayers and tucks children into bed at night?
Mends broken objects, cuts, bruises, and broken hearts?
That's right! It's Super Mom, on the go.
