A Mother's Prayer by Marty Ford

            God, help me to be strong in the months ahead.

            There's a life inside of me, I couldn't shed.

            Please help me to bring a new life in this world, and not

            to be sadden , in my given choice.

            Led me to see, what I'm doing is right.

            Please stand beside me, I'm frighten inside.

            Don't let me give in to voice's that say, give up that new life

               it's easier that way.

             I know, I did wrong, a mistake was made.

             But to give up a life, so innocent, a belief not given in haste.

             I want to hold and give it warmth, a gentle hug, a gentle kiss.

            To sing a lullaby, as I hold it near

            And watch it grow, in it's mind and it's soul.
