 God's Guidance Through Grief by Ron Reese

I once had a friend,
but now just a tear;
Once had a loved one,
now grief to bear.
Once had some good times,
now only sorrow.
I'm going through remorse.
I don't look forward to tomorrow.
So out with the tears,
Out with frustration.
Cleanse me dear Lord,
thou my consolation.
Yes, once I had grief,
but now I have healing;
Once no relief;
Happy memories now I'm feeling.
God's guidance through grief,
tribulations and sorrow;
Led me through the dark valleys.
I can now face tomorrow.
