What
am I searching for?
Searching
Looking
Seeking
What do I hope to find
Where will I find it
No use turning on the light
I will not find it in the
light of day
It is not in the daylight
Nor is it outside me
I must seek the answer
Within
It is deep within
The answer lies within me
No sense asking another
They do not know my answer
Rarely do they know their own
No use looking in a book
Reading volumes
Searching
Seeking
Reading
Seeking
Enlightenment
Answers to questions
As of yet unasked
by me
Yet answers that I need
Nowhere I can turn
No one I can turn to
Except myself
When in times of trouble
There is but one wise soul
I must seek
And that is me
If I don't own the wisdom
That I need
Then I shall wallow
And I shall drown
In my own demise
and in my misery
I shall die
Because I dared to seek
The answers from the world
When all the time
The answers lie
Within the soul
of me.....
