Without an answer Johnny glanced at Nicci and saw that she was already asleep. Leaning over Johnny gave her a peck on the forehead then left the room "Is she okay Johnny?" Stanley asked "Yeah I think she's fine Jo what happened she was fine earlier." Sinking down in a chair Jo began to tell Johnny what Nicci had told her. ........... One week later....... Roy Watched as his partner strolled into the day room sinking tiredly in a chair. Getting a closer look Roy could see the dark circles under his eyes." Morning Junior.How is every thing ." Parking the squad Roy and Johnny climbed out and headed to the locker room. Noticing Jo's station wagon parked in the back parking lot Roy and Johnny changed their minds and made a mad dash into the day room to find Jo holding Abby. " Hey Jo what's up is Abby okay?" Johnny asked taking Abby from Jo's arms "Oh she's fine she's just helping me do some shopping and we thought we would stop in and say hi to her daddy." Then turning around Johnny spotted Nicci standing in the door way." Hi Half Pint." He said walking up to kiss her "Hi." Nicci said looking for a way to leave and avoid the situation ." I'm sorry to bother you I just wanted to stop by on my way to Rampart for a check up." She said turning around to leave "Nicci please don't go.
