6.2 The officers of the club shall be elected at a regular club meeting vote,by current members, by simple majority, in December each year,for installation of the following March 1. Notice of this December meeting shall be sent to all current members at least two weeks prior to the meeting.
6.3 The officers of the club may appoint members to serve on temporary committees, or to temporary positions, as they feel is required.
6.4 The officers of the club shall keep written records of all club meetings and of the decisions taken; and a current member roll.
6.5 The officers of the club shall notify all current members of the date and place of the December club meeting for the purposes of dues (5.1) and for the Election of Officers (6.2), and for Changes to Bylaws (9.1), by mail.
6.6 The officers of the club shall notify all current members of the results of the December meeting (6.5) regarding dues (5.1) and Election of Officers
(6.2),and including an Application for Membership Renewal, (Appendix 2), by mail, within two weeks of the meeting taking place.
6.7 Club officers position vacated during the the term shall be be filled by the following means:
6.8 Should the office of President become vacant; the Vice President shall assume the position for the balance of the term.
6.9 Should any other position of club officer become vacant. During the next regular club meeting another member shall be voted in to fill the vacant position for the remainder of the term.
6.10 The club President shall be co-treasurer, and be listed on the club bank account. In the event the Treasure is not available, the club Presidert will have accessibility to the club funds.
Article 7 - Club Meetings
7.1 Club meeting dates and location shall be displayed at the flying field, and revised as necessary by the Executive Committee.
7.2 Club meetings shall consist of a quorum of a half (1/2) of current members.
7.3 Club meetings shall be presided over by the club President, or in his absence, the Vice President. In the absence of both, another officer shall preside over the meeting. If no officer is present the meeting shall be postponed until the following week.
7.4 Club meetings shall accept nominations of officers, and for motions on club business both written and fron the meeting, correctly nominated and seconded, by a simple majority of current members on a show of hands. Votes of current members not a the meeting shall NOT be accepted, except in extreme circumstances, In this case the members vote shall be delivered to the Secretary in writting prior to voting time.
7.5 The vote of the President shall only be used to decide a deadlock vote by current members.
