What is Information & Communication Technology BTEC First Diploma?
A BTEC First Diploma is a practical, work related course. You learn by completing projects and assignments that are based on realistic workplace situations, activities and demands.
Information Technology is about using computers to carry out tasks found in the work place. The course will improve your computer skills and knowledge such as you will learn how to create your own website and publish it on the internet. During the course there will be guest speakers coming in to dicuss what job they do.
A BTEC First Diploma is equivalent to four GCSEs grades A*-C and is a one year full-time course.
