Presenting information is a unit used in IT for creating many options for example creating memos, letters, newsletters, making your own logo, web pages and making your own blog. These options are very important in using ICT to present information. This unit will give you the skills and confidence to produce a varieties of documents for a range of audiences.You might already be familiar with a number of software packages and will be comfortable using them.Standard software packages offer various range of facilities, and we will be looking at some of them in the This unit is internally assessed. You will provide a portfolio of evidence to show that you have achieved the learning outcomes.The grading grid in the specifi cation for this unit lists what you must do to obtain Pass, Merit and Distinction grades. The section on assessment tasks at the end of this chapter will guide you through activities that will help you to be successful in this unit.Pass being the lowest grade, Merit being the middle grade and Distinction being the highest grade available.
