The Creative Me
Here's a bit of random gibberish that I wrote.  Poems..thoughts..and STUFF!
Hope you enjoy!
This first one is an essay I wrote back in Jr. High.  Please notice my literary expertise and my formal format of writing. *sarcasm* (hahaha)  I look to this paper often and it never ceases to amaze me to find how many aspects of this paper are actually true.  I was so ignorant..so naive..so innocet..and yet so wise.  (I know, I know..don't give myself too much credit.  =)
What Does theQuote, "The Path To True Love Never Runs Smoothly," Mean to You?
The quote "the path to true love never runs smoothly," means that love will never be perfect and will always have its flaws.  No matter how much you love a person, a happy relationship will always have it's ups and downs to it.  Small arguments will erupt, but in the end, you always "kiss and make up."
This quote reminds me of two sayings.  One is, " the road to happiness isn't always paved with gold."  To me, this means exactly what the quote in question says.  You can't always have things come to you easily.  Happiness isn't always easy to obtain.  Sometimes, you get one of those days where nothing is going right, and you feel like killing yourself.  That's only because you're going through a "bad part of town."  Do you quit?  Noo!  You stive and seek "the pot at the end of the rainbow."
The other saying is, "there is no fear in love, but perfect love caseth out fear."  (I got this one out of a fortune cookie.)  It's very true.  Loving somebody won't always give you butterflies in the stomach.  However, when you DO meet that special someone, you get scared, and well, here come the butterflies!
Bocak to the original saying.  I guess what it all means, is that true love will always have its ups and downs; good parts and bad parts, but you shuld never stop pursuing the love you seek.  Sure there will always be butterflies and fears, but in the end, it's all worth it!
This second little tidbit is a sonnet that I wrote in my senior year of High School.  I won the prize for the "Best Love Sonnet" and took home a bottle of Martinelli's apple cider that day!  Hey!  That's a good pize!  Martinelli's kicks ass!  =)
Old Love
Two old Wrinkled Prunes sitting side--by--side:
Silver strands crown the tops of both heads.
Honest and open they've nothing to hide,
Together forever is what they both said.
In old age they see eachother's youth,
Memories and thoughts of long ago.
Sitting in rocking chairs, sipping vermouth,
They get up and dance to mucsic real slow.
Aged hands reach out, grasp one another,
Holding onto eachother forever.
Hugging with love, each other they smother,
And in death they are buried together.
Throughout youth to when you reek of Ben Gay,
I will be there for you each and every day.
Yup!  that's right!  Another sonnet!  Here's one for all the couples that are in long distance relationships, or separated from your loved ones.
Happy Thoughts
At nights I sleep and dream of you.
In days I daydream and wish my thoughts would come true.
I long to see your warm, soothing smile.
For you I'd go that extra mile.
What I'd give to feel your sweet embrace,
To be able to reach up, look, and touch your charming face.
Your twinkling eyes, your rosy cheeks,
It is your presence, here with me, that my heeart longs for and seeks.
I'd love to lie down upon your chest;
To listen to your hearbeat as we lie down toegther and rest.
All these things it seems can never be,
For all the distances that separate you and me.
There's one thought that makes me happy amidst all these thoughts so blue;
That I'm there with you in spirit, because you have a piece of my heart with you
