| During my High school years, I had the pleasure of taking part in a program called Aaron Price Fellows. APF is a San Diego Based program, in memory of Aaron Price; who was a young man with many ideals and desires, and whose life was all too short. The program was developed by his grandfather to celebrate the joy of Aaron's life and to spread Arrons ideals and ways of thinking. The program selected students out of the San Diego County School District, and gave us the opportunities that we would have otherwise not had. We were exposed to possibke future carrers and we gained experience in networking and all other aspects of life that we would need as young adults preparing for the future. This page is a little collection of memories from my years with APF. |

In the first year of the program, we went to Camp Stevens. To the right is a group picture from that year. We look so young!!! During camp, we had to partake in what was called a ropes course. basically it was a course made out of wood, ropes, and wires that reached 40 feet in the air. The picture (left) is of me clinging for dear life during the last event. I was REALLY high up and I REALLY wanted to get down!!! We had to work with partners, and mine was trying to cheer me along. All I could think was: "Yeah wait till you get here buddy!" |

Washington DC group picture. One of the perks of the program is that we got to take a trip to WashingtonDC (all expenses paid)!
