NEW:

I have a new journal online; my onland:online journal has been converted to a writing practice page (woohoo!). You may email me for the link to my new journal. Strangers only, please!

Practice page was last updated on 12/17/01 ! The exercise is journaling . I also now have an archives page.

"The grand essentials of happiness are: something to do, something to love, and something to hope for."--Allan K. Chalmers

Dear You:

This is :ONLAND://ONLINE/, an online account of my "onland" life.

In it, I hope to kick motivation and inspiration in the ass by promising to provide you with the most fascinating and interesting thoughts, and perhaps also post some excerpts of my works-in-progress.

You know, sometimes I wish you could spell words using only exclamation points. Or subsitute letters with actors who get giddy and hysterical (who I would put in place of "fascinating and interesting").

However, I am quite aware that not only would people picture me in that place, I would probably be quite happy to be there. And dying from embarrassment about three days later when I realize what an ass I've made out of myself.

This feeling washes over me often. It's become quite soothing really.

I hope you enjoy the page, leave comments, and find something interesting enough to come back again. I hope I enjoy it too. I also hope inspiration isn't ugly. But just in case, I'll be prepared (insert dancing people here).

PLANNED (?) UPDATES:

(11/27/01) I have created a quick and temporary, but still (wahoo!) informative profile page. It's more of a quick bio. No stalkers, please. I'm sick right now and can only harm you seriously rather than disable you completely. Happy trails!

(11/08/01) I am going to create a more accessible archives page which includes journal subject headings. I hadn't thought of this before, but realize I should have (oops). With work being so utterly boring, this shouldn't be a problem, though in January, I'll have to purchase a computer to work with at home cause then: kaboom! Work.
