Personality: Ilyana is a trickster at heart. She is
mischevious, bright, full of energy, and sometimes
reckless when she has a goal in sight. Because her
occupation as a traveling merchant and purveyor of
goods of dubious worth demands it, she makes friends
wherever she goes, and is rarely seen outside of the
company of others. However, because she is so restless
by nature, she rarely stays in one place for more than
a few days unless by necessity. She loves to play
harmless tricks on people she likes, and more serious
tricks on people who have angered her in some way.
Hobbies: Ilyana doesn't have time for hobbies, unless
creating "potions," "spells," "charms" and "fortunes"
for unsuspecting, gullible people counts as a hobby.

Magic (if applicable): Ilyana's magic is not real
magic. She simply takes the various metaphysical
"sciences" like astrology and numerology and uses them
to concoct fortunes. Most of the "spells" and "charms"
are outright fakes she sells to gullible housewives or
maids who want to attract various good fortunes.

keeps sheathed in her soft black leather boots, more
for show than use considering that she's not exactly
proficient with their use.

Background History:
Ilyana Vella was a Polish Gypsy
during the Holocaust. As she wasted away in a
concentration camp, she never lost her sense of humor,
her exuberance, or her natural love for life and
freedom. She remained cheerful throughout her ordeal,
even as her body deteriorated and she drew inexorably
closer to death.
After she was noticed by Ashea and offered a second
chance, she concocted a story to cover her appearance,
claiming to be the illegimate daughter of a fishwife
and a Romani wanderer. Since her arrival, she has
rarely spent longer than a week in any one place,
slipping in and out of her surroundings like a ghost,
with only her horse, Maetzi, and her cart, in which
rest all her mortal belongings.
She has a fondness for a "drop of the pure" and good
conversation, so the first place she usually visits
when she enters a town is the local tavern. She
generally avoids big cities, but goes in sometimes for
supplies, or at the request of her friends. Though
Ilyana is beautiful, and could likely settle down in a
place of her choosing, her exuberant personality hides
a deep and abiding mistrust and paranoia, and she is
only comfortable when self-reliant.
HUGE UPDATE: The She took Ilyana from the realm where she'd originally
been dropped, due to sad circumstances, and gave her another chance
in the WL realm thinking she'd be far happier there.
