Background History:
Derrick graduated from college
with a degree in Criminal Justice and joined the
police acadamy right away. After serveing two years
as a patrolman he got his big break when he noticed
a piece of eveidence that a detective ignored at a
crime scene of a possible Serial
Killer/Rapist. Derrick took his finding to the head
of the task force but was ignored for being an over
reactive 'rookie'. He took it on himself to
hold his own investigation on his own time and
tracked down the killer and arrested him. When it
was discorved that he had arrested the man on his own
the top brass gave him a promotion and a gold shield.
A few years ago another serial murder landed on his
desk with a ritual twist to it and he went digging
into the occult to see what the angle was. Derrick
meet a young women named Rose at a small occult shop
down town and a romance bloomed. Rose introduced
Derrick to more and more about metaphysics and the
occult and helped him to find out that the killings
were not ritual at all..just a mad man tring to cover
his tracks with false occult imagery. But then one
day Derrick came home and Rose was gone. Since she
had left him he has been
slowly spiraling out of control.
