her years in space

 Build:She's on the muscular side due to the fact she's a gunner
on Charlie O'Bannon's ship�and constantly trains to stay in top
physical condition. Despite being thin and muscular she has a
well developed 44C chest size, but it only seems to add to her
overall no nonsense condition.

 Strengths:She knows what she is capable of doing, and
refuses to tolerate nonsense from anyone around her.  If they
do their job and stay out of her face, then there's a darn
good chance of being her friend.    
   Gunner with a
sharp eye, capable warrior.

 Weaknesses:  Hard smoking, hard drinking, lives life to it's
fullest (which gets her in trouble a LOT).  HATES going into
deepsleep as it gives her awful migraines.  In fact would rather
drink fuel from the reactor core than be drugged into deepsleep!!
Cannot seem to resist smarting off to those in authority, even

  Background History :
All that is really known about Nina's early years, is that
she was born on Earth.  That and the fact she was approximately
a year old when her parents took her and left the planet for
some unknown destination. 

Only a few days out a mysterious explosion killed her parents,
leaving Nina an orphan.  Feeling sorry for the tyke, the
captain made her sort of the mascot of the ship.  Over the years
she was shunted from one ship to another, always learning new
things from each ship's crew.

One freighting captain was so impressed by Nina's resilience,
and cocky attitude, that he sponsored her admission in
StarFleet Academy.   It was an okay place, but Nina really
wasn't impressed with it all.  As far as she was concerned
the other female cadets were simpering fools and the men
weren't much better!  She did manage to surprise the instructors
with her high marks and knowledge of weapons.  But she made no
secret of the fact she didn't think highly of working for
StarFleet.  Upon graduation, she went to work on a freighter
as their gunner.  Eventually she found herself working for
Charlie O'Bannon in the same capacity .See the galaxy, shoot
things up...sounds like a good day to her.

All hell broke loose during one of their "business endeavors", and their ship was badly shot up.  Charlie ordered everyone into deep sleep, then sent out an SOS distress call before going into deep sleep as well.   Unfortunately things went from bad to EXTREMELY worse, and The She tossed their ship through a time portal which came out beside Tyr.   The crew was awakened by the expert medics on board the station, and they were settling in rather well in their new lives.   Rich beyond their wildest dreams because of Charlie's savvy business dealings from nearly 2000 years in the past.

Charlie and crew, minus Nina, went on a rescue mission with Kalindra Jackson's crew.  They've yet to get back, and NIna pretty much has decided they may never come back.  With that in mind accepted a job with Security.  ironic really, if you remember she's actually a smuggler!
