Background History: 
She was originally a small-town
girl. However- her family was somewhat dysfunctional
(to put it mildly). She decided she wasn't going to
tolerate it any more and took off one night with
everything she could stuff into a backpack. She
eventually made her way to Chicago where she obtained
a small apartment, and a job. It took her a few
months, but she actually managed to set it up quite
comfortably. These days between her work (both paying
and volunteer) she takes courses at a local college
and haunts museums.
