Background History: 
Gina was born out in Wyoming as a
ranger's daughter. The ranger had really wanted a son
to take over, but Gina's mother died while she was a
girl so she ended up being an only child. During her
schooling, she found she had a talent for sciences,
especialy medicine. Her father had done his best to
teach her of the outdoors but when she told her father
at age 17 that she was going into medicine, he got
very angry. Hot words were exchanged. That night Gina
packed a few necessities and ran east to Chicago. She
managed to finish working her way through school and
secure a spot for herself at the hospital.
 
UPDATE:  Gina, because of a tragic love affair, was transported by The She
to the WL realm.  Where now she is quite happy, after getting over the initial
shock of finding herself in a not so modern world.
