Welcome, weary traveler, to the Nexus role play site! This site is designed to be a place where any enthusiastic fan of science fiction or fantasy can role play in a community of friends.

The heart of the action is the forum, which includes a galaxy created by the staff for members to role play in and a free-style section where members can create their own plots for others to join, or role play in another member's original plot. It also includes a large community section where you can introduce yourself and get to know your fellow role-players.

The Nexus role play is forum-based, where members basically co-author a story through their posts. We don't use experience points or character profiles like large-scale RPGs, but instead focus on well thought-out plots and good writing.

The Nexus was originally created three years ago by myself (Elwen) and group of my friends who had always wanted to have a place to role play with the characters we loved and create our own plots. To this day that remains the Nexus' mission statement.
