A compact 33 1/3 Double from Chile??
That's what I thought, but it is not! Roberto Cortiz was kind enough to contact me and he told me it' not even near a label from Chile.
So if anyone recognizes this label, please let me know where it' from!

47-7810 'Are you lonesome Tonight' in the promotional version. Titels appear in Spanish, translated underneath in English and the record comes in the original firm sleeve.

'It's only love / The sound of your Cry' from my country: the Netherlands
Catalogue number 47-1017, the orange label a lot like the German releases but with signifficant differences none the less.
The Netherlands did release some very nice picture sleeves during the '70's and had exiting releases during the '50's
Yet little is known about them so far. I plan to change all that a little.
Sleeve and wax not new -it is my extra copy so if any collector would be pleased with it, let me know!

Who has seen this beautiful cover before!
To me it's new, and i'm very happy with it. It's in very good condition and the marvelous blue label and deep black wax almost seem unplayed.

The first thing that notices is that only the front of the jacket is laminated, the thin paper on the back is not.
Track selection and artwork on the cover is identical to the common releases.
The S.African label however has nice variations.
That's all I can tell on this exotic record. So feel free to share your knowledge with me!
This one has a (in tackt) push out centre, while other Norwegian singles I have don't. This one I bought in Oslo and I've never seen a Norwegian release outside of Norway.

What can be told on this well known album? It's New in My Collection for starters and i'm happy with it!
Released march 1959 the first pressing made no mention of Elvis on the cover. The LP title is on the upper right corner. The song selection is printed in yellow.
It' said this is the first LP album cover in history that doesn't mention the artist.
France has a wonderful EP Catalogue with often great artwork on the covers. I think it' the only country that sold more EP's than singles.
Apart from the title Kissin Cousins the songs included are:

Gold In The Mountains
Chatchin' On Fast.

The Black label with silver lettering reminds us of the german label, however lettering is more bold and 'made in denmark' is found underneath the big 45 rpm triangle.

A Real Collectors Item, Fabulous Artwork on the cover and back on this page on request. Collectors claim it to be an impossible find. I really stumbled upon it and i'm really proud of it!
