Elton Vs Marauders 03.11.01
On Saturday 3rd
November we took on Marauders D, who are sitting at the bottom of the league.
It started of bad for Elton, going behind by sloppy defending. A couple of
minutes later we went 2-0 down. Moments later Ben Maxwell hit a great goal to
make it 2-1. Chris Gill popped up again to equal the match 2-2, and then he
scored again to make it 3-2 to Elton. He scored his hat-trick goal to make it
4-2, well done Chris. We then scored again through Ben Maxwell with a well taken
goal, half time score 5-2.
We came out strong from the break with Chris scoring our 6th and his 4th.
The Marauders pulled 2 back in quick succession to make it 6-4. We then got a
free kick inside our half which George Rimmer took and fired into the back of
their net (inside our half!! great goal), 7-4. The last goal of the game
was when Chris popped up again to make it 8-4.
