A Medieval Affair

4 days of Feast, Fun and Revelry

This year’s theme is Medieval Faire. Much like The Movie “A Knights Tale: there will be several War events as well as cultural events throughout the weekend. At the end of the weekend we will crown the events War Champion, Cultural Champion, as well as the Overall Champion.

As each person arrives for the event they will be given a favor. This favor can be given to the champion of the bearer’s choice…or taken from a fallen victim during one of the many lists. The collector of the most favors during the event will be named “Champion of the Revels” and be given a “very special” award.

Nighthunter Battle: Do you have what it takes to move through the night striking your enemies down and moving on? Do you have what it takes to be the Nighthunter? The Nighthunter battle is a single long sword honor duel battle that goes from sundown til only one person is standing.

Schedule of Events (subject to change)

Day 1 - August 31st

9am - Gates open / Lists open

10am - 24 hour ditch field opens/24 hour class battle game open

12pm – Lunch

4pm - Meet and greet and Courtesans event begins (Bardic singing dancing storytelling)

5pm – Dinner

Sundown – Nighthunter round 1

Day 2 - September 1st

8am – Breakfast

9am : A&S sign in begins / List Sign-ups close

9:30am : Archery Tourney

10:15am : Desert Winds Weaponmaster Tourney

12noon - A&S sign in closes/ Lunch

12:30 - A&S judging begins

1pm : Grand Melee

2pm : 5 man teams (fight not only your enemies but sudden changing environments!)

4pm : Spell caster Tourney

5pm : Judging closes/ Dinner

6pm : Court

8pm : Amtgard Trivia!!!

Day 3 - September 2nd

8am – Breakfast

10am : Evil Dead Battle game (Gimme some sugar baby!)

12pm – Lunch

1:30pm : Militia Castle Battles

3pm : The Principality of Desert Winds presents DBW V (Masters and newbs vs the world)

6pm – Feast

7pm : Court

Day 4 - September 3rd

8am – Breakfast

11am : Ditch field/Battle game field closes.

12 noon : lunch, clean up and go home.
