Fez is the oldest Moroccan imperial city. It was founded on the eight century during the reign of Mly Idriss Azhar on rich agricultural plain between two mountainous chains in North Africa. The city was aimed by almost all dynasties who reigned in Morocco for it strategic position on the heart of numerous tribes. I introduce here some pictures from the old city as well as the modern city and some popular quarters.
