Republic of Ireland (1997)
I regret to inform that good photographs of my
trip to the Republic of Ireland were few and far in between. Also, I haven't
kept any records of the places I've visited so the descriptions are at best
limited. I would really appreciate it if my
fellow vacationers could help to refresh my memory. Contribution of
photographs are also most welcome. Many thanks!

As always, the photographs are arranged in
chronological order:

Full external view. The large ditch just behind me used to be the castle's moat but it is now dry and empty. A large cannon in the castle compound (or is it a telescope?). Trees on either side of the path combine to create an arch way. The branches intertwine to create an arch effect. Ireland primarily consists of flat farmlands. A nice scenery in Ireland. So very nice and flat! Very peaceful surroundings. The B&B's in Ireland are cosy and inexpensive. I seem to recall that the breakfast was excellent especially the tasty black pudding or whatever it is called.

 | Remarks: I wish to extend my
appreciation to our wonderful hostess in Ireland for her generous
hospitality and for showing us around. Cheers!
