The sun came out, the bride looked positively radiant, the groom looked dashing and delighted, the father of the bride looked extremely proud (and cut a fine figure in his kilt!), the bridesmaids looked stunning, the colour of the season was definitely lilac with some gorgeous hats to be seen.  A very enjoyable day with some great company, delicious food and drink and a cracking ceildh afterwards - where I had a smashing time landing on my backside during "stripping the willow", last party goers were seen to be retiring to bed at about 5am.

The bride and groom have since returned from their honeymoon in the Maldives where they had a well deserved rest, having almost single handedly organised the whole day.
