I made it! I'm now a 5 year old! That means that I'm a REALLY big girl now. I had a great, low-key birthday this year--dinner with my grandparents, parents, brother and a friend then home for cake and presents. I got a lot of cool stuff. With every gift I opened, I would say, "It's just what I always wanted!" It didn't matter what it was--it was just what I always wanted! Especially my Mariposa Barbie with the big sparkly pink wings. That's a cool doll. Carson liked all of the wrapping paper and stuff, silly boy! So everything has started back up. I have dance twice a week (ballet and hip hop) and school 3 days a week. I'm so glad to be back in all of my activities. Carson's not so happy about it, though. He's not crazy about waiting during my dance classes. Mommy says that he gets too restless and there's stuff that he cannot get into in the studio and that makes him mad. And he's started "school" too! He goes to the same place that I go but only for 2 days a week. Mommy says that it's been "interesting." I think she means that it's not going as well as it could. He's getting better--really only crying at drop-off, if he's not the center of attention and at naptime (he's not liking the nap thing without Mommy or his own bed). He's usually crying at pick- up time too because he has to come inside. He's like me and loves to play outside. Not much else is going on around here. Daddy's busy with work and stuff but we still have time to have lots of fun! We got a new boat. I really like it. You can sleep on it and stuff--it has BEDS. Daddy says that since I'm doing better with the swimming stuff that next year, I can probably do something called "tubing" with him or Mommy. I'm not quite sure what that is but he promises that it's fun. He'd better not be kidding me! He likes to kid me a lot. He's silly. We've got lots of lakes around us--quite a change from where Mommy and Daddy grew up so they like this boat thing a lot.
