[the writer]            SoulMates                                                                        continued..
Hans' walk, was no longer a run. Unlike before, where all his concerns was focused on his job. The 'hotshot' City banker, constantly on a rush. Rushing so much, he had failed to smell the roses and the girl who held them. Until, the law put an end to that.

Now about the girl.. Hans felt like a total sham. All that teasing of James' obssession,
when Hans, himself, was equally obssessed about her.

"It's too late, now," he told himself.

Those familiar aching knots in his stomach reappeared, as if on cue. Hans knew the motion. What was to follow would be a pain which got so unbearable, it literally stopped him in his track.

He would then be forced to stare above, at the pitch black canvas. Which by the way, acted as a natural blanket to hide him from
her. Then, he would use the stars to count till thirty three. Finally, relief found, he would develop an unquenchable craving for daylight. But mostly, for her.

Her.

He knew her exact motions as well. Like how she would be in Pochester Hall every Thursday night, like this one. At 9.15 sharp. To perfect her newly acquired swimming techniques.

With his identity concealed behind the pillars, he watched as she made her way across the waters with such grace. He always knew that she would be an elegant swimmer despite her previous phobia of water.

He caught himself smiling fondly at her. How
that incident had changed her. Within the short span of a year she had managed to forget her traumatic past, develop a new identity and overcame this particular phobia. She was definitely a stronger woman. Tumultous event had made her grow. It did not break her.

"But she's still my girl."

At that very instant his heart ached for her to notice him. To be aware of his existence. But that would be asking too much, too soon. She had afterall made herself forget him.

He felt despair, that in her grief, she had blocked him out of her head. But the time will come and she will remember him again.

And no law shall stop him.

Enchanted by that thought, he made his way to the women's locker room and secretly left a note for her to find.
