| Carrie Kennedy-Griffith March 12, 1908 - October 30, 1993 Carrie married Arlie Griffith in 1927 and reared 9 children, one set of twin girls. She and Arilie resided on Elk Creek until 1977 when they were forced to relocate to Verner. When Arlie passed away in 1981, she moved her mobile home to Spice Creek and lived near several of her offspring until her last days. Carrie remained a God-fearing woman whom everyone respected and grew to love as a friend, neighbor, mother, and grandmother. Her heart-of-gold and moral values still exist as a behavior instilled among many of her children, who followed their mother's precious footsteps. Carrie touched so many lives, young and old, with kindness and unselfish love. May her memory always be with us. |
