| Arlie Griffith July 27, 1900 - August 6, 1981 Married to Carrie Kennedy in 1927. Together they raised 9 children and lived on Elk Creek until 1977 when they were forced to relocate during their golden years. Arlie used to walk through Elk Creek on a daily basis, whittle wood, make leather whips, and visit friends, but lived only a few short years after relocating to Verner where the lifestyle he had known changed to sitting on the porch and watching the days go by while he eventually withered away. |
