The Unholy Trinity of Modern Life![]()
This chapter has 3 parts: the beginning introduces chosen people who have been faithful to divine morals and the teachings of Jesus as opposed to those who have received the Mark of the Beast. The former will play an important part in the future, because they have adopted a new way of thinking.
Then 3 angels appear: the first of them tells us to keep to these divine principles. All the evil in the world can be traced back to worshipping false gods. The third angel will tell us what that means today. In between the second angel pronounces the fall of "Babylon" the country that has brought disaster on the whole world by her immoral ideology. Nowadays "Babylon" is everywhere.
Then the third angel tells us, what is wrong today in the 21st century and what disastrous consequences this leads to. The sins of humanity are the same as the sins of the ancient Jews according to the Old Testament: Most people have become unfaithful to the Lord in everyday life and created artificial gods:

Therefore we are threatened with serious disasters by the Book of Revelation, the First Commandment and many other prophecies from the Old Testament.
In Britain the Beast is the prototype of a superstar who becomes the object of worshipping ceremonies. The picture of the Beast and the Mark of the Beast can be found on British money and E II R, the Mark of the Beast, also symbolizes the institutions of the State. Verses 9 and 10 predict that people who worship these false gods will be tortured with burning sulfur, a serious threat. Sulfur is one of the traditional ingredients of explosives, which means that burning sulfur predicts violence of guns and bombs.
| This prediction came true on 15/6/96: During the ritual worship of the Beast, her birthday parade known as "Trooping the Colours", a massive car bomb exploded in Manchester injuring 220 people. |
God's retribution calls for patient endurance of his people, because they cannot be spared all the disasters meant to wake up the majority of shallow people. The British situation is used as an example for our whole Western Civilization, because it was invented there.
However the attitudes condemned in chapter 14 can be found throughout the world. Outrageous worship of the Unholy Trinity is rampant in the USA, and Americans are being "tortured with burning sulfur" like no other nation on this planet. The same applies to other countries: with increasing greed of the ruling classes the social situation deteriorates and people are more likely to become victims of crime.
If you are part of a society, where people think they can afford reckless business and godless ideologies, you can expect to suffer any time, even if you deem yourself "innocent", because society as a whole is guilty. Typical examples are children who become victims of rampaging gunmen or sexual abuse.
The last part of this chapter about the "Harvest of the Earth" threatens mass killing to punish the rich for the suffering of the poor. Like many other disastrous prophecies in the Old Testament, predictions like these should be regarded as a threat by God urging humanity to change and abolish the attitudes condemned in the Bible.
