James Aldridge, a poor child of Tetbury went as Apprentice to John Chamberlin, record dated 24-Dec 1739
This looks like he was James baptised 1726, son of William.
James Eldridge, 17261217 son of William, baptised daughter Ellen 17530213.

Nathaniel Eldridge 1670 - 17230503 buried his daughter Ann 17140613. It is tempting to consider him the father of Joseph, Robert and William.

Robert Aldridge 1702 - , married 17280226 to Elizabeth Whitehead 1703-17380706, and baptised Thomas 17290518, Mary 17310819, Hannah 17330917, John 17351127 - 17360826 lived 9 months, John 17371101 and buried Katherine 17380826, 6 weeks after her mother died.

Samuel Eldrig was buried 17210526. Widow Elinor Eldridge was buried 17250112.
His Will tells us he is the father of John, Joan and Margaret (aparently already married) and Elizabeth (who wed 17220514 to James Peace)

Samuel wrote his own name to sign his Will 18 Apr 1720, and it was Proved 5 May 1722
To my daughters Joan and Margaret 6 pounds each, to be paid within 5 years of my decease
To my daughter Elizabeth 30 pounds to be paid within 5 years of my wife's decease
I give all my remaining possessions to my wife Eleanor and my son John, and appoint them executors of my will.
