Children are Catherine 17210617 - 17810320 aged 60, Mary 17221112 - 17230901 lived 10 months, Ann 17240912 lived 2 months, Mary 17251029 -17320911 aged 7 years, James 17290527, John 17320707, Edward 17340712 lived 7 months, Joseph 17360424 - 17380321 aged 23 months and Sarah 17390520 - 17930312 aged 60. 10 children and 4 survived.

Will signed 17 May 1755 and Proved by Dorothy Brown 1 Apr 1767 To my wife Dorothy Brown, I appoint her sole executor, then when she die, to my son John Brown and daughter Catherine Brown 30 pounds apiece, and to my daughter Sarah Brown 20 pounds. If one die, the money goes to the survivors.

Increases Catherine's bequest by 10 pounds and leaves all his mould casting equipment and goods to his eldest son James.

I copied this Will. Sarah is a sister to James and the late John Brown.
She appoints James her sole executor, and his wife Margaret if James should die, and leaves the survivor 100 pounds
She leaves 20 pounds to each neice and nephew - James's children Edward, Mary, Ann and Margaret, and John's children Nathaniel, Francis and Joseph
My nephew Nathaniel has been gone from home some years and it is uncertain whether he be living, so if he is not heard of within 10 years of my decease, I direct that his legacy be evenly divided between such of my neices and nephews then living.

John Brown was buried 17180918.

John Brown 173207707- 17780817, son of Edward, married 17560610 to Anne Browne buried as a widow 17790226, and baptised James 17570414 - 17610405 lived 4 years and died of Smallpox, Elizabeth 17580926 lived 2 years and also died of Smallpox 5 days after her brother James, Hannah 17590909 buried 17600628, John 17600720 lived 5 weeks, Nathaniel 17620720, Francis Kerry 17640625, Joseph 17660413 and James 17671009.
The first four babies died, the next four were still alive in 1770. By 1787 Nathaniel's whereabouts was unknown and James had died - see Sarah Brown's Will
Alice, wife of Francis Brown, is mentioned in Sarah Paul's Will dated 31 Mar 1795

Jonathan and Nathaniel appear to be brothers as well as fathers of twins.

Jonathan Brown 17240510, son of Jonathan, married 17480703 to Anne Underhill and baptised Jane 17490420, Ann 17500923, Edith 17520802, George 17540330 - 17831025 aged 29 and Mary 17570224 - 17580402 lived 14 months.

Mary Brown, widow, was examined by the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor at Horsley, who made a Removal Order that she be returned to Tetbury, reference P328a OV 3/3/1 dated 19-Jan 1768
Mary Brown baptised a daughter 17680410, and 8 days later, on 17680418, Mary Brown, Widow, and her daughter Mary were both buried.
Is she Mary Kite who married John in 1747?
Mary Ritchens who married William in 1739 would appear to be too old to have a baby in 1768.

Nathaniel Brown 17000916 - 17830227, son of James, married 17240713 to Elizabeth Carey 1693 - 17750401 aged 82 - maybe cousin to the Elizabeth Carey who married Anthony Davis 17180518. Nathaniel baptised twins 17250419 James buried 6 days later and Ann, married on 17560610 to John Brown.
Jonathan and Nathaniel appear to be brothers as well as fathers of twins.

Thomas Brown baptised his daughter Elizabeth 17230201.
