Thank you for stopping by I hope you
enjoy your visit. I love to design and make custom, one of a kind, jewelry
pieces. I will make more than one on request for weddings or special gifts
for sisters or friends. Everyone feels special when they know they won't
run into someone else wearing the same dress, necklace,bracelet,anklet or
earrings they have on. I also make unique badge holders. Some of my basic
designs (thought not duplicated by myself) are fairly standard so you might
run into someone, somewhere, with something similar. One of my original
designs has already been copied. I can't stop other jewelry artisans from
copying my work when they admire it on one of my customers.
I design high quality jewelry made
from the highest quality materials.
I use:
-
Genuine gemstone
beads such as amethyst, onyx, rose quartz, citrine, jasper, jade, sodalite,
malachite, turquoise,garnet,amazonite and more.

Swarovski Austrian
crystals and spacers. Just a note, I love these! They remind me of diamonds
the way they sparkle and catch the light. "Crystals are as pure and
clear as water. Crystals remind us that we need to keep our environment
pure." (Daniel Swarovski II, grandson to the founder of the Swarovski
company.)I completely agree with him.
- Czech glass fire polished faceted
beads and spacers are used on a rare occasion as are Czech glass drucs (round
beads). I use Czech glass leaves on occasion also.
- I also use genuine freshwater pearls
handpicked from several strands for the best match in each piece of jewelry.
- High quality .925 Sterling Silver
from Bali,India or the United States. Silver from India and Bali are referred
to as free trade products. This means by using these items I am helping
a silver artisan to continue with his work. I don't like to use Hill Tribe
silver as it is much softer and won't last as long unless handled with care.
Whenever possible I will use silver that has been treated not to tarnish.
- High quality 24kt. Gold plated ear wires and
Gold filled earwires, rounds and pins. Gold filled will last as long as
full gold as it has such a high plating (regulated by the government) unless
someone were to take sandpaper to it for a very long time it would be difficult
to tell the difference. To date they don't sell full gold findings for jewelry
beaders. The closest we can come is 14kt gold filled. A misnomer since a
metal is thickly plated in gold (filled)and then plated with gold.
- All my items are packaged in a small
gift box with no tarnish jewelers cotton or a bag to protect it from the
air.
- Depending on the beads to be strung
and customer requests I string my designs on professional Beadalon©
7 or 19 strand stainless steel coated in nylon.
I also make some less expensive, one
of a kind, jewelry from imported glass beads and base metals. Sometimes I
will add a platinum clasp to a bracelet that is made of gemstones and crystal
but you will always get an explanation as to what your specific "ingredients"
are. Platinum clasps and spacers I use are lead free and often plated in silver
or vice versa (silver plated in platinum). I will also, on occasion, use Rhodium
plated silver. White gold wedding bands are plated in Rhodium to maintain
their luster and brilliance.
