We acknowledge the fact that every player has certain limitaions to operating within a team. So, before we can place in them our trust and respect we must first make sure they are deserving of it. They only way we know how to do this is by implementing similar "real world" training methods. These training methods will serve several purposes. 1) It is our hope that this will weed out most, if not, all the Rambo's, disruptive gamers, cheaters, know-it-alls, and so on. 2) To help bring out the waririor in most newbie gamers. 3) To provke leadership and decision making skills in those who are capable. 4) To instill a strong sense of disipline and pride. 5) To promote good morale values and ethics by avoiding the use of cheats. 6) To engrain the qualities of teamwork in each member. This training is desined to be very hard and to increase in difficulty as members progress. We do not expect everyone who has reached this point to survive before 2nd Phase. Those who do will find that many will have dropped on request (DOR) before the completion of 3rd Phase. Members in 4th phase will have to show a level of teamwork capabilities before graduating. Upon graduation, members will be given thier 1st combat platoon designation and the rank of Private. By the time members graduate they will have bulit a comraderie among each other and know that new members into a combat platoon will be trustful and deserving of ELITE respect. Remember, many have tried yet most have failed. Although if you have made it to a combat platoon, it will be even more difficult to maintian your position in it. You will be required to attend further training sessions to maintain your teamwork capabilities. Any member failing to do so will be dealt with accordingly. The Combat Instructors (CIs) acknowledge the fact that even with all thier knowledge and experience, they don't know everything. Although they do know enough for each member to operate as an effective fighting team. It is common knowledge that most clans that have used team tactics in the past have failed miserably against solo player tactics. So members must know that the tactics here are fresh off the cutting board and have not yet been field tested of battle proven. They are simply designed to teach players who have never/or occasionally played together to work as a team. The finer skills of tactical fighting will be addressed when/if you are in a combat platoon. |
