| These men gave their life so that their cause could never again be vilified by the British Establishment. They endured torture, allowing their physical bodies to waste away, while at the same time their spirit got stronger, and so did the spirit of the Irish people. They deserve to be remembered, not just as some of the bravest Irish martyrs to die for the cause, but as humanitarians and true revolutionaries. |
