| February 21, 2001 It occurs to me that I've neglected a very important part of my family here - my mother's side of the family. So here's an initial attempt to correct that! Up until this past year, I'd never had a death in the family to deal with. Now I'm up to three, and hoping very strongly that the magic of that number will prove true. So I'm starting off with the two other women in my life that are no longer with us.. |

| And something to make my mom blush.. :) To the left is a picture of my maternal grandparents, Mildred and Johnnie Burle Osborne, with baby Iris. (It's not a great picture, but I like it.) To the right is an image I also really like of my mom and her mom. Mildred looks so strong...reminds me of a Holly Near song here. |
