Protein

 

The protein coded for by the GRHPR gene is CAI13848 glyoxylate reductase/hydroxypyruvate reductase [Homo sapiens] (328 aa)7, it can also be found as AAD465178.  After doing a Conserved Domain Search the following domains were found similar to the initial amino acid sequence entered into the BLAST search.  See the chart below.

Protein Structure

The protein structure of GRHPR is not known.  By doing a search through the NCBI related structure database, I received the following results.  The closest protein with a known 3-D structure is: 1GDH Chain B, D-Glycerate Dehydrogenase (Apo Form) (E.C.1.1.1.29).  When comparing the two amino acid chains, the following results were displayed:
