As we were exiting the house, I heard Brandon call out "I WILL KILL YOU BITCH" and I heard a loud bang. Elicia and Miguel and me all screamed and when I turned around Elicia was on the ground and bleeding. I screamed "OH MY GOD WHAT DID YOU DO???". I craded her in my arms and she was bleeding everywhere. A neighbor ran out with a cordless phone and called 911. Brandon fled and was caught later.
When the paramedics came, Elicia only had a faint heartbeat. She was rushed to the trauma unit, and went to emergency surgery, and she died the next day. The bullet entered her upper left arm and went through her left side and the fragments went through her left lung and bruised one of the chambers in her heart.
The bullet was meant for me but it killed my beautiful little girl. I miss her so much everyday.
Elicia was 10 years old when she was killed. She loved Beenie babies and she loved to sing. Her favorite holiday was Christmas and now it will never be the same. Her personality was bubbly and she loved everyone around her. Nothing is the same without her now.
This is my little girl as I will always remember her.
